Carol Klein opens the Secret Garden

‘The Secret Garden’ Big Lottery Fund project for Pilton Infants School was opened on June 6th by Gardener's World's very own Carol Klein. Features include a large wildlife pond with dipping platform, an outdoor classroom with round table and a living willow spiral with an oak sculpture at its centre. There is also a music and art zone where children will be able to display their work. A network of flowing paths link the areas together making it both a fun and stimulating environment for learning to take place. Not only is the garden a great resource for the school it will also be available for use by other groups in the neighbourhood.
